Tesla excluded from Kansas City Auto Show

Tesla wasn’t allowed to join in the Kansas City Auto Show on March 4-8 because it doesn’t have franchised dealerships.
That means it doesn’t belong to the Kansas City Automobile Dealers Association which runs the show in Missouri, so Tesla owners and fans put on display and test rides outside, CleanTechnica reports.

The association says a sales and service agreement with an automaker is the criteria to join the organisation. “Tesla’s business model does not include franchised dealerships, thus they do not belong to the association.”
