Tesla Model 3 deliveries start
Customer deliveries of Tesla Model 3 RHD versions are expected to start shortly.
That ties in with what we reported on August 14 that container ship Cap Capricorn was unloading the EVs in Auckland and Sydney.
Comments on Twitter indicate Model 3 customers are being contacted by delivery specialists and informed the cars will be delivered from about August 28.
That’s confirmed by Aaron Green who says he was contacted by Tesla Auckland to say his delivery would be coming then. “I was the first person they got hold of in NZ,” Green tweets. He says he was told some cars may even be delivered on August 23.

EVtalk has approached Tesla for comment on deliveries and other information.

I have a booking for a Tesla, but did not factor in all the add ons etc, that took it from 35k US to 75knz. Anybody want to take up the offer? Thanks, Ben ben@chia.co.nz
