A first run of the 2025 Tesla Model Y from the Shanghai factory have been spotted in China, with new details shown.

The first of two sightings was of multiple Model Y EVs on a transporter truck in Shanghai, The Driven reports, adding another truck was spotted with multiple covered Model Y vehicles being driven away from Tesla’s Shanghai factory.

A black Model Y was seen undergoing testing on the road and has a lightbar which could follow the EV’s width while the headlights are now underneath the lightbar.
