Tesla has sold 88,400 EVs compared to BMW’s 30,700 electrified models in the first quarter of this year.

That’s according to CleanTechnica Which says Tesla provides pure electrics while BMW has produced a large assortment of plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs), mostly for the European market — and also sells the fully electric BMW i3 subcompact crossover.
