Production of all Tesla vehicles in Q1 2023 reached 440,808 with the Model Y and Model 3 accounting for most of that, Tesla adding at its March Investor Day that new production methods should make its EVs cheaper while prices on many models have been reduced.

That’s widely expected to bring another profitable quarter for the brand.

Tesla says it will post its financial results for Q1 2023 after market close on Wednesday, April 19.

“At that time, Tesla will issue a brief advisory containing a link to the Q1 2023 update, which will be available on Tesla’s Investor Relations website.

“Tesla management will hold a live question and answer webcast that day at 4.30pm Central Time (9.30am April 20 NZST) to discuss the company’s financial and business results and outlook.”

A transition toward a more even regional mix of vehicle builds is continued, including Model S and Model X EVs in transit to Asia-Pacific and Europe, Middle East and Africa, says Tesla.

It adds that about two hours after the Q&A session, an archived version of the webcast will be available on the company’s website.
