Tesla updates configurator – September deliveries

Tesla has included a 620km Long Range Model 3 in its newly updated configurator across Model S, Model X and Model 3 EVs in Australia and New Zealand for deliveries due to start September.

“In order to make purchasing our vehicles even simpler, we are standardising our global vehicle line-up and streamlining the number of trim packages offered for Model S, Model X and Model 3,” a Tesla spokesperson says.

“We are also adjusting our pricing in order to continue to improve affordability for customers. Like other car companies, we periodically adjust pricing and available options.”

The Model 3 now has three choices – the Standard Range Plus (460km range) at about NZ$73,900, Long Range (620km) for NZ$94,200 and Performance (560km) for NZ$101,100 – previously limited to two.

An exterior pearl white multi-coat is now the default colour.

The Performance model has a white interior option.
