Tesla ute November reveal still on

The Tesla ute remains on track for a November unveiling.

Tesla chief executive officer Elon Musk confirms in a tweet that there’s no change to plans for revealing the ute, called a ‘pickup truck’ in the US.

Few details are being given about the Tesla ute or its reveal, other than Musk earlier saying it would be under US$50,000, have a performance close to the Porsche 911 and tow like a Ford F-150.

Meanwhile, all sorts of potential Tesla ute designs have been dreamed up by overseas media ranging from near normal to spacey.

We will all know in November, although no date has yet been given for the launch.
