Teslas will soon “talk” and “fart” to pedestrians

Tesla chief executive Elon Musk says Teslas will soon be able to speak to drivers and pedestrians.

“Teslas will soon talk to people if you want,” Musk tweeted. “This is real.” 

Musk made headlines for adding that the vehicle would be able to fart in their general direction.

Musk uploaded a video of two people driving a Tesla Model 3, with the car’s speaker saying “well, don’t just stand there staring. Hop in.”

Teslas already have a whoopee cushion feature inside the car.

Musk did not disclose in what update this feature would be added in, but Tesla has begun adding external speakers to its cars in order to comply with new safety regulations that require EVs to produce noise.
