Video: Elon Musk takes VW ID.3 for a spin in Berlin

A video of Elon Musk’s Volkswagen ID.3 test drive while he was in Germany checking on Gigafactory Berlin progress has been shared by Volkswagen Group executive Herbert Diess and also posted by VW on Twitter.

Musk seems impressed with the ID.3 with the video featuring some banter between Diess and Musk during the drive.

The VW ID.4 is seen nearby at the end of the video.

Diess later comments: “Thanks for the visit, Elon! Hope you like the video. It was great driving the ID.3 with you! You were just quite critical with the available torque at higher speed. I told you: ‘Yes, we are on the runway – but no need for take-off – it’s not a sports car’. For this, you should try our Porsche Taycan. Looking forward to our next meeting!”
