Video: Hyundai sets the pace with full cell truck

Hyundai is set to release details on the launch of a new fuel cell electric truck.

Plans on the introduction of the truck will be detailed at the IAA Commercial Vehicles 2018 event in Hanover, Germany from September 20 to 27.

Hyundai is set to have the truck ready for the European commercial vehicle market in 2019 with vehicle specifications still to be announced.

The state-of-the-art truck is another milestone for the South Korean automotive manufacturer after recent launches of the ix35 and Nexo fuel cell SUVs.

Hyundai also recently completed South Korea’s first domestic highway journey with an autonomously navigated semi-trailer truck.

Hyundai’s Xcient truck, carrying a large semi-trailer, drove around 40km on the highway between Uiwang and Incheon .

It showcased Hyundai’s innovative technological advancements in transportation.
