Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has revealed a right-hand drive VF 6 SUV at the 2025 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) held in Surabaya.

The VF 6 SUV is available in two trims – Eco and Plus – with starting prices of IDR 396,995,000 (NZD $40,750) and IDR 451,600,000 (NZD $46,350), respectively (OTR East Java).

Surabaya, alongside Jakarta, is one of Indonesia’s major economic hubs, with a large population and rising transportation demand. VinFast’s presence at IIMS Surabaya is part of its broader strategy to expand its distribution and service network nationwide.

The company has already established 20 authorized service centers, 25 third-party workshop and 22 dealerships in Indonesia, including seven locations in East Java.

VinFast continues to apply a vehicle exchange and buy-back policy, offering up to 90% of the vehicle’s value after six months and 70% after three years for all VinFast models in Indonesia.

It says this policy provides customers with greater peace of mind when choosing a VinFast EV and the flexibility to upgrade their vehicle based on evolving needs.
