Volvo EX30 EV arrives soon
The electric Volvo EX30 small SUV is due in New Zealand from March (for dealer demonstrators) and April (customers) in three trims.
Pricing (which excludes the now defunct Clean Car Discount) is $74,900 for the 2024 Volvo EX30 Plus Single Motor Extended Range RWD, $78,990 for the 2024 Volvo EX30 Ultra Single Motor Extended Range RWD, and $84,990 for the 2024 Volvo EX30 Ultra Twin Motor Performance AWD.
Prices and other details featured in EVs and Beyond in October last year and were also outlined by Giltrap.
Launched in June 2023, the Volvo EX30 smart design “makes small a smart choice” and has “everything you need” in fewer components, turning debris into deco, and is designed to require less materials and resources to build, says Volvo Cars New Zealand.
It adds the EX30 is “designed to have the smallest CO2 footprint of any Volvo car to date”.
”The soundbar has gone solo, the window switches sit in the centre console and the centre display is also your driver display.”
Recycled denim is used in the interior.
The Volvo EX30 has an estimated 476km range, a 69kWh battery, and is capable of fast charging from 10% to 80% in 26 minutes.
