Pininfarina Battista BEV teased ahead of world debut
Automobili Pininfarina plans to unveil its Battista electric hypercar production version at the Monterey Car Week in California from August 12-15.
It has already teased some images of the US$2.2 million hyper GT limited to 150 units, which will feature alongside the even more limited Battista Anniversario electric hypercar with only five vehicles.
The Battista battery electric (BEV) production version has a 120kWh battery and four motors producing more than 1416kW of power and 2300Nm of torque, enabling it to reach 100km/h in under two seconds and have more than 500km range (WLTP).
The first vehicles are due to be delivered to customers later this year.
The Battista is named after Battista ‘Pinin’ Farina, the founder of the Carrozzeria Pininfarina coachbuilding company he established in 1930.
The finished Battista features distinctive black exposed signature carbon fibre bodywork and black gloss precision polished Impulso rims.

The Battista Anniversario will make its US premiere at The Quail and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, with a preview at Pebble Beach on August 12.
Automobili Pininfarina chief design officer Luca Borgogno will join the panel of judges at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
“We are excited to showcase the beautiful and sustainable future of luxury to our clients, while celebrating more than 90 years of Pininfarina design heritage during Monterey Car Week,” Automobili Pininfarina chief executive Per Svantesson says.
The company is a 100% Mahindra & Mahindra investment and has been named Automobili Pininfarina following the signing of a trademark licence agreement between Pininfarina S.P.A. and Mahindra & Mahindra.
