Mercedes reveals electrics at IAA Mobility 2021
The world premiere of four pure EVs comes from Mercedes-Benz at the IAA Mobility 2021 show in Munich from September 7-12.
Leading the charge is the EQE, the second electric model in the premium class after the EQS saloon, having a staged global launch mid-2022.
The EQE will be made in Bremen for the world market and in Beijing for the Chinese market, coming in two variants including the EQE 350 with a 90kWh battery, 530Nm torque, and up to 660km range (WLTP), while performance versions around 500kW are planned.
The huge MBUX Hyperscreen is an optional extra.
The EQE 350 can add up to 250km range after 15 minutes DC fast charging.

Also on show are the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV concept, and the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ with 484kW of power and 950Nm torque boosted to 560kW and 1020Nm under the optional AMG Dynamic Plus package.

Next up are the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 SE Performance, the Mercedes-Benz EQG concept off-roader, the Smart concept #1, and the EQB five-seater (with seven-seat option) in 300 4Matic and 350 4Matic versions in Europe – both with 419km range – and with front-wheel drive and long-range versions planned.

Also on show is the Mercedes EQT concept small electric van expected to be launched in 2022.
