Arrival expands European presence
United Kingdom-based electric vehicle manufacturer Arrival’s new electric van showcased in a European roadshow to 15 cities by March 2022 recently featured in Munich, Germany where it is now available to purchase.
Arrival is expanding its presence across Europe and pioneering a design and production method using Arrival’s local microfactories to make the EVs.
The Nasdaq-listed company has already partnered with global car-as-a-service firm LeasePlan, based on an initial order of 3000 e-vans and will see the Arrival e-van rolled out across many of the European cities.

Payload and cargo volumes range from 10.5m3 to 18m3 per metre depending on the model height and length, with a low total cost of ownership (TCO).

Arrival vehicles are designed to maximise the safety and well-being of drivers and the public using advanced technologies such as advanced emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, digital e-mirrors, a 360-degree surround view, traffic sign recognition, and more.
“We continue to see tremendous demand for the Arrival e-van globally, and particularly in Europe – as more and more fleet operators are looking to decarbonise their operations, in line with public policy,” Arrival president Avinash Rugoobur says.
“The government in Germany, in particular, has made a significant pledge of 6.6 billion euros to support fleet operators in electrifying their vehicles. We’ve worked with operators and drivers to design and produce the Arrival van to be a best-in-class solution with a TCO that makes the transition the best possible commercial decision and enables businesses to transition to electric vehicles that excel in their operations while improving the environment.”
The Arrival van has started public road trials with key customers and is expected to begin full production in Q3 2022.
