Charge Net opens charger at Dowse museum

Hutt City Council has unveiled a Charge Net NZ fast charger at The Dowse Art Museum on August 26.

The council has placed the charger next to its existing slow electric vehicle charger on Stevens Grove.

This is temporary location, offered by the Hutt City Council, while Z Petone is out of action due to upgrade works.

Customers will be billed for usage of the fast charger at standard rates by Charge Net NZ, but the existing slow charger is free.

The Z Energy station on Hutt Rd is expected to reopen on December 2, with a Charge Net NZ fast charger. The Charge Net unit at the Dowse will then be relocated to a permanent location elsewhere in the greater Wellington region.
