Karsan has EVs in two Italian shows
Karsan will have three EV models in the Next Mobility Exposition (NME) in Milano and the Intermobility and Bus Expo (IBE) in Rimini in Italy, both from October 12-14.
The EVs are the e-JEST, e-ATAK and e-ATA models – Karsan recently winning a tender for its e-ATA electric buses for the Italian city Bologna.
“We have aimed for the sky in Italy, which is one of the largest markets in public transportation and has quickly taken steps in its zero-emission transformation,” says Karsan chief executive Okan Bas.
“We also continue our rise in Italy as in France and Romania, which are among our main targeted markets.”
Bas explains that after the Bologna tender, Karsan has reached the order of 106 EVs in Italy so far as well as e-JEST and e-ATAK.
“We will see all of these vehicles all across Italy next year.”
Karsan Europe was established for that market and is a wholly owned subsidiary, Bas adding Karsan will extend its structure further soon.
