Nissan e-NV200 gets more range

The Nissan e-NV200 has a new 40kWh battery providing about 60% more range.

The size and weight of the high-voltage battery is unchanged, but with the almost doubled battery capacity customers can drive more than 100km per battery charge.

The e-NV200 is now ideally suited for business customers such as parcel and delivery services, Nissan says.

It presented the 40kWh battery e-NV200 at the Nissan Futures 3.0 event in Oslo, Norway.
“With its wider range and excellent charging capacities, the new e-NV200 with 40kWh battery is the perfect transport solution for urban transport,”, Nissan in Europe EV director Gareth Dunsmore says.
“Considering the large impact package services and commercial drivers have on air quality and the traffic situation, especially in cities, the reduction in their CO 2 emissions makes an important contribution to a more sustainable future.”

The 40kWh Nissan e-NV200 can be ordered from the end of the year as a box van, Kombi or Evalia, with the market launch in Europe scheduled for April.
