Polestar AGM October 7, plus board changes
Polestar has its AGM in London on October 7 where Winfried Vahland will become chair following Håkan Samuelsson’s retirement from the board of directors.
Volvo Cars chief supply chain officer Francesca Gamboni is proposed to replace Jim Rowan as Volvo Cars representative on the board, and Christine Gorjanc and Xiaojie Shen (Laura) are proposed as new directors and likely to be appointed to Polestar’s Audit Committee.
Vahland says he intends investing 100% of his net remuneration in Polestar shares.
“This is an incredibly exciting time for Polestar – with a unique position and growing model line-up that will provide the foundation for our success,” he says.
“My conviction of this success is reflected in my decision to invest 100% of my net remuneration as chair for 2024 and 2025 in Polestar shares.”
Polestar has also made other appointments.
