Simon Evans aims to join brother Mitch Evans on the ABB FIA Formula E circuit with Jaguar TCS Racing in its new generation three electric race cars.

He gets the chance to prove himself and return to electric racing at the ABB FE rookie test in Berlin on April 24, posting in social media that he’s excited to joining Jaguar TCS racing for the test.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team and the new car.”
Simon first joined his brother in electric racing in 2018, driving in the no longer running Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy series.

Simon was recently appointed McLaren brand manager by the Giltrap Group and has worked for the group for more than 12 years.

Meanwhile, Mitch Evans won the last e-prix in Brazil and is expected to do better this time in Berlin after coming fifth there last year.

Racing in the Berlin 2023 e-prix is on April 22 and April 23.
