Tesla delivers 367,500 vehicles in 2019

Tesla hit a record delivery of 112,000 EV deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2019 – adding up to 367,500 for the year overall.

That’s a 50% increase on 2018 deliveries and in line with full year guidance, Tesla says in its newly released report.

Quarter four deliveries included 92,550 Model 3s (301,000 for 2019), and 19,450 Model S and Model X EVs (67,000 for 2019).

“We continue to focus on expanding production in both the US as well as our newly launched facility in Shanghai,” Tesla says.

“Despite breaking ground at Gigafactory Shanghai less than 12 months ago, we have already produced just under 1000 customer saleable cars and have begun deliveries. We have also demonstrated production run-rate capability of greater than 3000 units per week, excluding local battery pack production which began in late December.”

Tesla’s financial performance, including net income and cash flow, will be announced shortly.
