Trade Me Motors plugs-in to International Drive Electric Week
International Drive Electric Week begins Saturday, September 10, and Trade Me Motors is plugging-in.
Throughout the next week the country’s biggest vehicle listing site will have road tests of the latest electric vehicles, including the eye-catching Tesla Model S, plus coverage of events being held to celebrate and promote them.
Trade Me Motors has already made the sale of electric vehicles easier by updating its system to make it easier to list and search for them.
Head of Trade Me Motors Darren Wiltshire says his team is enthusiastic to back the week and the technology.
“Many of the EVs on New Zealand roads were sold through Trade Me Motors, and we are keen to make our site the place Kiwi’s buy, sell and research these cars,” Wiltshire says.
“There are Nissan Leafs available on Trade Me Motors from as little as $14,000,” he notes. “They are surprisingly accessible.”
Four EVs visited the Trade Me Offices in Auckland today for staff to check out and try, including a BMW i3, Renault Zoe, Nissan Leaf and Mitsubishi iMiev.
