Nordic EV Summit postponed again

COVID-19 precautions have led to the postponement of the Nordic EV Summit from April 21 and 22 to November 10 and 11 this year.

Organisers – which include the Norwegian EV Association whose secretary general Christina Bu has visited New Zealand – say they have decided to postpone due to current and potential future restrictions and uncertainty related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The health and safety of our participants is of utmost importance for us, so it would not be responsible for us to go ahead with the event at the original date in April,” they say.

“We believe and hope the pandemic is under control and that we once again can meet each other on the 10th and 11th of November 2021.”

It was initially scheduled for April 2020 but was cancelled by COVID.                    

Organisers say while it is disappointing to reschedule yet again, they encourage everyone to follow the guidance of the World Health Organisation and local public health officials.
