PlugShare compatible with Apple CarPlay

PlugShare, a free EV driver’s app for iPhone operating systems (iOS), Android, and web, allowing users to find charging stations, leave reviews, and connect with other plug-in vehicle owners, has recently announced it’s now compatible with Apple CarPlay. 

An iOS update includes new features designed for easy use when connected to CarPlay through a vehicle’s built-in display.

“To minimise the need for manual browsing, PlugShare will now not only filter out unwanted locations, but will also rank locations so the first options seen are the best,” the California-based company says.

“In addition, trips that you plan on your iPhone, iPad, or on the web will now be viewable on your vehicle’s built-in display.

“You will also be able to view location bookmarks, get single tap directions, and even switch vehicle types – all within CarPlay.”
