‘Uber Pass’ launched
Kiwis are among the first in the world to get Uber Pass, a membership that connects both mobility and delivery.
For $14.99 a month, Uber Pass members can enjoy a wide range of perks across both Uber (rides) and Uber Eats (restaurants, grocery, alcohol, pharmacy and more) including 10% off rides (excluding Pool Chance), a zero delivery fee from select restaurants, grocery with a $20 minimum cart, and a refreshed carousel of exclusive member perks.
Uber also offers discounts like its Zero Emissions incentives, and includes offers on EVs, EV charging and home solar and battery storage in certain countries and regions.
And a Uber shared rides scheme was launched in April.
Uber Pass unites the best of delivery and ridesharing in a single membership, enabling people to go anywhere and get anything with Uber, the company says.
By the end of this week most accounts will be able to unlock Uber Pass.
Open the Uber app, select the three vertical dashes on the top left of the screen, select Uber Pass and follow the prompts.
On the Uber Eats app launch the app, select account (bottom right), scroll down to select Uber Pass and follow the prompts.
