The Peugeot e-Partner LCV joins the brand’s e-Expert van and continues a commitment to provide a fully electrified range by 2023.

Due out in the United Kingdom in November this year, the e-Partner has 275km range (WLTP) from its 50kWh battery and 100KW electric motor, and 260Nm torque.

The e-Partner will be available in the UK with two types of on-board chargers – a 7.4kW single-phase charger as standard and an optional 11kW three-phase charger and can achieve full power in five hours through an 11kW Wall Box, or an 80% charge in 30 minutes via a 100kW DC rapid charger.

Drivers can access three modes – Eco (60kW, 190Nm) for optimising vehicle range, Normal (80kW, 210Nm) for everyday use, and Power (100kW, 260Nm) for performance and transporting heavy loads.

Two braking modes are ‘Moderate’ or ‘Augmented’, to maximise battery regeneration.

“The Peugeot Partner has been one of our most popular commercial vehicle models, and we can’t wait to see how the new electric variant will be received alongside the Peugeot e-Expert,” Peugeot UK managing director Julie David says.

It will be available in Professional and Asphalt trim levels, and a Crew Van version will also be available in the Professional trim level allowing for transportation of up to five occupants.

Maximum load capacity is 4.4m3 and the maximum payload is 800kg, while towing capacity is 750kg. Two wheelbase versions are available – a ‘Standard’ variant at 4.40m and ‘Long’ with 4.75m.

A modular folding three-seater bench allows drivers to increase storage capacity, with load space increasing up to 500 litres inside the cabin, via storage space under the centre seat cushion and a load-through bulkhead.

Cockpit functions include an “e-Toggle” gearbox control allowing a switch between Park, Reverse, Neutral, Drive and the two regenerative brake functions.

There is also a separate switch for the three driving modes and a storage space to charge smartphones.

Drivers can access key vehicle information on the instrument display via the steering wheel controls, including navigation, power management and the option to switch between different driving aids.

The touch screen gives access to an ‘Electric’ menu which shows key vehicle information.

Thermal pre-conditioning can be set from the touch screen or remotely via the MyPeugeot smartphone application.

A pedestrian alarm sounds at low speeds in forward and reverse.

Other services are offered, mostly relevant to the UK.
