Electrek says German media reports VW’s new EV flagship is planned with help from Audi’s Artemis programme, which aims to develop a “highly efficient electric vehicle.”

The Volkswagen Group says its e-offensive is gaining traction with deliveries of electric models in Europe – including the UK, Norway and Iceland – increased more than fourfold in the past year – totalling 315,400 EVs compared with 72,600 in 2019.

It aims to step up its e-offensive this year with a large number of new all-electric vehicles based on the modular electric drive toolkit (MEB).

Audi will start this year with the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron Sportback, CUPRA will launch the el-Born and Skoda will bring out the Enyaq iV.

Volkswagen Passenger Cars will launch the ID.4 in a number of additional markets and present a new all-electric model.
